Rauch Hungary wastewater treatment plant operation

We have been operating the anaerobic biological wastewater treatment facility of Rauch Hungária Kft. since the completion of commissioning and trial operation. The plant has a hydraulic capacity of 1,000 m³/day, an organic load of 3,500 kg COD/day, and a capacity of 40,000 PE.

The approximately 250,000 m³ of biogas produced annually is compressed and blended into the natural gas used by the factory. This solution provides natural gas savings equivalent to approximately 6,000 GJ of thermal energy.

These operational activities are carried out by two staff members, 365 days a year.
