Our role
As main contractor, we supplied and operated the aeration optimisation technology: installation, maintenance, monitoring and remote supervision.

The client
Our client was Bácsvíz Zrt., a utility company; the project was carried out at the Kunszentmárton wastewater treatment plant.

What we did
On the biological line of the roughly 700 m3/day plant, we optimised aeration with an Aqualogic (Binder) system between 2023 and 2025. The plant's specific wastewater composition, including a cheese factory's discharge, and summer wastewater warming caused by climate change were particular challenges.
Outcome
Over two years, the client saved nearly HUF 6 million with almost no investment of its own effort.
