What we do

We purify water, and turn it back into a resource

We design, obtain permits for, build and — where required, with service and maintenance support — operate industrial and drinking water treatment and purification technologies. These projects rest on architectural, mechanical, electrical and control-engineering foundations that overlap in many ways with wastewater treatment. Drawing on decades of experience, the continuous integration of new technologies, and close attention to constantly evolving drinking water quality regulations, we shape each concept around the specific circumstances of the water user in question.

At the same time, we believe that industrial and other water demands don't have to be met solely from drinking-water-grade sources: in our concepts, we favor the use of treated or less contaminated wastewater as well. Water treated this way can be returned to industrial processes, irrigation systems, or — in the form of recreational watercourses — the natural environment, reducing water footprint and costs while advancing sustainable, circular water management.

Water pre-treatment and purification

We design, permit and build industrial and drinking water treatment and purification technologies, including service and maintenance support where required. These projects are built on architectural, mechanical, electrical and control-engineering elements that overlap in many respects with the field of wastewater treatment.

Technologies we apply: chemical clarification and sedimentation, biological treatment, evaporation, ultrafiltration, removal of micropollutants, photo-oxidation technology for the removal of pharmaceutical residues, iron and manganese removal, reverse osmosis purification, and complex disinfection.

Reuse of treated wastewater

Industrial and other water demands don't have to be met solely from drinking-water-grade sources — in our concepts, we favor the use of treated or less contaminated wastewater as well. We always tailor the water required for industrial use to the specific water quality requirements of the given production process, selecting the appropriate technological solutions.

Reuse can draw on municipal treated wastewater (external source), an industrial plant's own wastewater (internal source), or other already-used water, depending on the circumstances. In an agricultural setting, where irrigation or water storage options exist near a wastewater treatment plant, we adapt the water treatment technology to those conditions; for municipalities, treated wastewater can even be reused in recreational watercourses.

We have developed reuse concepts, permitting and execution plans for a number of major cities and industrial players.

Consulting

Our consulting services cover the full spectrum of water treatment and wastewater treatment: from initial needs assessment and the development of technological concepts, through support during permitting procedures, to actual operation. Our expert engineering team provides guidance on every project with the latest water treatment technologies, current regulatory requirements and economic considerations in mind.

We define the required treatment stages, ensure the removal of micropollutants — including microplastics as well as chemical and pharmaceutical residues — and design systems that comply with EU directives and remain reliable over the long term. Our goal in every case is to find a sustainable, cost-effective solution tailored to the specific site — whether it concerns drinking water treatment, industrial water purification, or wastewater reuse.

Our approach is technology-agnostic: we do not commit to a single solution, but in every case select the most appropriate direction based on the specific site, water quality goals and individual requirements. With decades of experience, we are familiar with a wide range of domestic and international water treatment technologies — this perspective is what ensures our cost-effective, sustainable solutions.

Over more than 25 years we have developed concepts, permitting and execution plans at more than 100 different sites — across municipal and industrial projects alike, from water treatment to wastewater reuse. This experience means we identify conditions faster, see risks earlier, and produce more well-founded solutions — making the entire project more predictable and efficient.
