Our sister company, INWATECH Ltd., acted as subcontractor for the design and permitting of the biotechnology. Implementation was later postponed.

The client
Balassagyarmati Biogáz Erőmű Kft. is a Hungarian company founded in February 2013 by Sinergy Kft. to deliver a renewable energy power plant investment in Balassagyarmat. Sinergy Kft. is a wholly owned subsidiary and standalone brand of ALTEO Nyrt., active in energy generation, power plant operation and maintenance, and production management and scheduling in the energy market.

The facility
The planned plant was designed to produce 8,200 Nm3 of biogas a day and use it in a 1 MW combined heat and power unit. We took over the reference from our sister company when Water4All was founded in 2021 and took on its biogas business.
