Sizing, manufacture and delivery of an activated carbon gas treatment tank to remove hydrogen sulphide from the biogas at Bátortrade Kft.'s plant in Nyírbátor.
Our role
As supplier, we sized and had the activated carbon tank manufactured, delivered it together with the carbon charge, and loaded the charge.

The client
Our client was Bátortrade Kft., an agricultural company in Nyírbátor.

What we did
The hydrogen sulphide content of the biogas exceeded the limit, and after an official notice it had to be reduced urgently. We sized the tank from the gas flow given by the client and the agreed lifetime of the carbon charge, i.e. how often the carbon needs replacing. The client installed the process piping.
Outcome
Hydrogen sulphide emissions fell below the limit. We were able to help quickly and flexibly after the official notice, in line with the client's needs.
