Hajdúnánás
At Hajdúnánás, we installed a 10 m3 double-walled gas storage tank at the thermal well, significantly increasing the gas engine's annual operating hours — and with them, the electricity and combined heat output generated from the associated gas.

Our role
We installed a double-walled gas storage tank, significantly increasing the gas engine's annual operating hours.
01
The client
The Hajdúnánás Thermal Spa has been in operation since 1962. Its water, drawn from a depth of 1,019 meters at 67°C, was officially classified as medicinal in 1989. It is a high-salinity sodium chloride, iodine-bromine mineral water with a total dissolved mineral content of 7,981 mg/liter.
02
What we did
We installed a 10 m3 double-walled gas storage tank, significantly increasing the gas engine's annual operating hours — and with them, the electricity and combined heat output generated from the associated gas. Both the electricity and heat produced are used directly by the thermal spa. The gas engine has an electrical output of 50 kW, and we installed a BiogInwa dehydration unit to remove moisture from the associated gas.
Outcome
The gas engine's annual operating hours increased significantly — and with them, the electricity and combined heat output generated from the associated gas.
