Our role
Our sister company, INWATECH Ltd., acted as main contractor, handling permitting and implementation and running the trial operation. We also refurbished the BTEX incinerator.
01
The client
MOL Petrolkémia Zrt. is one of Hungary's largest chemical companies. Its integrated petrochemical complex in Tiszaújváros comprises two olefin plants and five polymer plants and has supplied polymer products to Hungarian and European plastics processors since 1970.
02
The facility
The facility removes BTEX compounds (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes) from the wastewater and destroys the recovered gases by thermal oxidation. The project also included servicing and operation. We took over the reference from our sister company when Water4All was founded in 2021 and took on the industrial segment.
