Pilze-Nagy Kft. has grown and traded oyster mushrooms since 1997. With nearly three decades of expertise and a strong track record of innovation, it is now recognized as one of the leading oyster mushroom growers and traders in Hungary and Europe.

What we did
Pilze-Nagy Kft. carried out this development to cover as much of its own energy needs as possible, since it previously lacked enough storage capacity to keep to its electricity consumption schedule. With the new gas storage capacity, the company can buffer production and use its biogas exactly when feeding surplus electricity back into the grid generates the highest revenue. As a result of the project, gas storage volume grew from 300 m3 to 1,300 m3.
