The client
Rauch is a fourth-generation Austrian family business founded in 1919 and one of Europe's leading fruit juice producers. In Hungary, RAUCH Hungária Kft. has operated since 1992, distributing well-known brands such as Rauch Yippy, Bravo, and Hey-Ho.

The facilities
Rauch Hungária Kft.'s facility is an anaerobic biological wastewater treatment plant with a hydraulic capacity of 1,000 m3/day, a COD load of 3,500 kg/day, and a capacity of 40,000 population equivalent. The plant is complemented by a sludge line and a biogas facility. We compress the roughly 250,000 m3 of biogas produced each year and blend it into the natural gas used by the factory — a solution that saves the equivalent of about 6,000 GJ of natural gas. The facilities were designed and built by our sister company, Inwatech Kft. When we were founded in 2021, we took over a number of our sister company's projects and areas of activity, including this one.
Outcome
We have operated Rauch Hungária's wastewater treatment plant and biogas facility since 2009, delivering a high standard of operational reliability for our client. A team of two handles operations 365 days a year.
