Our role

We delivered the complete containerised system, operated it and carried out the measurements. Our sister company, INWATECH Ltd., contributed to the engineering work.

01

The client

Our client was Richter Gedeon Nyrt., a pharmaceutical company.

02

What we did

Specific pharmaceutical residues were detectable in the treated wastewater. The aim of the test was to try our in-house photo-oxidation technology as a fourth treatment stage under real operating conditions.

Outcome

The test confirmed that pharmaceutical compounds can be removed effectively from treated wastewater as micropollutants. The project was an important step towards bringing our in-house technology to market.
