Our role
As part of a joint venture, we handled the design, permitting, and construction of the biogas plant.

The client
Seini (Hungarian: Szinérváralja) is a small town in Maramureș County, Romania, on the left bank of the Someș river at the foot of the Gutâi Mountains, between Baia Mare and Satu Mare. It's an important transport hub along national road 1C, with a population of around 10,000 including the surrounding villages.

What we did
We took part in the biogas plant's construction as a joint venture partner. Our scope covered the complete permitting and construction design, the delivery and installation of the main process units, and supervision of the commissioning trial run. We have also handled ongoing service and maintenance since commissioning.
Outcome
The biogas plant supplies the town with green energy and provides fertilizer substitute to nearby agricultural businesses.
